Designing awe inspiring and functional interiors is not just about dealing with space, form, material and colour. Interior design that is integrated and strategic creates sophisticated, welcoming environments that elicit individual responses, allow groups of people to connect and work better together and ultimately provide the supporting space for our clients to achieve their important missions.

Under the leadership of Michael Erlanger, members of our Interiors Group provide comprehensive interior design services to projects in each of our practice areas – Science and Technology, Security and Defense, Health Care and Urban Impact.

Our designers have developed expert level understanding of the products, finishes and fixtures that are required to meet the highly detailed specifications for the complex buildings and environments of our clients so that we can recommend the best choices for the long term.

This can range from choosing a specific paint that will meet licensing requirements and withstand the decontamination processes used in high security bio-defense or medical research facilities, to carefully designing the space and elements of a soothing health care facility or sustainable “green” workplace environment. Combining this level of specialization with the deep understanding of how spaces affect people physically and emotionally allows our Interiors Group to create harmony of form and function.
