Conceived as the first hospital-based wellness centre in Canada, the award-winning Wellness Institute is a 7000 m² restorative oasis in a developing suburban landscape. Intense collaborative research on wellness, fitness and accessibility issues resulted in therapeutic, rehab and general fitness areas that are designed along a curvilinear spine meant to evoke images of nature.
