The concept, "Broad Horizons", relates to Jonah Amitnaaq School's location, as well as the ideals of the educational process. The arching plan takes advantage of the school being situated by Baker Lake, Nunavut. A central triangular shaped atrium expands towards the lake, offering spectacular views, natural light and a central point of orientation.
