Drawing on two historically significant waterways that converge at Winnipeg's premier tourist site, the Inn at the Forks incorporates natural materials such as clay, brick, wood, and leather into its design. The décor is filled with curves which mimick the gentle motion of water along the banks. A 'story column' in the lobby tells a visual tale of the site's importance throughout the four seasons.
