The CL3 Lab in Edmonton is crucial for conducting tests for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) in Alberta’s cattle population and bacteriology/virology agents such as West Nile Virus. Our project design goals included worker and public biosafety, integration into surrounding context, scientific flexibility, and environmental security.
