Smith Carter’s in-house, integrated engineering team conducts research, in-depth building system evaluations, and cost benefit analyses as members of project teams. Integrating engineering considerations early in the process ensures that architectural design works harmoniously with mechanical systems, specialized equipment and additional needs of the end users. Depending on the nature of the project, Smith Carter engineers may collaborate with external mechanical, structural or electrical engineers, architects or as part of the integrated design process with clients.
