Landscape Architecture Technologist
We are currently recruiting for a Landscape Architecture Technologist that has a solid understanding of the design process and good technical skills in the areas of design illustration, landscape design, construction detailing, design documentation and construction inspection.
Responsibilities
> Responsible for the preparation and production of schematic illustrations, design drawings and construction documentation, under the direction of our Landscape Architects.
Qualifications
> Must possess technical expertise in design and construction detailing.
> Experience in cost estimating, irrigation design, and software applications such as Sketch-Up, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite beneficial.
> Graduation from a landscape architecture technology program preferable.
> Good computer skills and a high comfort level with AutoCAD 2007 or above; ideally with some 3-D design familiarity.
> Strong graphic design capabilities including the ability to freehand sketch.
> Ability to self-direct while at the same time collaborate effectively with others.
> Energetic and enthusiastic and able to work to deadlines.
> Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
