Indoor Environmental Quality: Supplemental Information
Providing excellent indoor air quality for building users should be a minimum requirement for building owners. No one can argue against the benefits of a workplace where exposure to off-gassing chemicals and compounds is minimized and where the use of carpets and flooring, paints and coatings, adhesives and sealants, and composite wood and laminate adhesives used in millwork are neither off-gassing noxious substances and known carcinogens into the air, nor abrading and eroding into toxic dusts.
