Our corporate head office was designed as an active ‘beta site’ or hands on laboratory and provides our interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, landscape architects and interior designers the opportunity to test material, study data, and interpret results of sustainable building practices for internal use as well as application to our clients' facilities. Energy modeling, daylighting studies, and water efficiency research is ongoing and has provided practical feedback, positively impacting not only the buildings we design, but the environment as a whole. By using our own building as a proving ground for the strategies of sustainable design, we are able to demonstrate to our clients and our community that sustainable design is affordable, effective, achievable and practical.
