Personal car use in North America has a substantial impact on the planet.  During early goal setting discussions for SC3, Smith Carter committed to addressing this growing issue by implementing a comprehensive transportation management strategy to reduce personal automobile use. The intent of this strategy is to reduce the detrimental environmental and social impacts of personal automobile use, to encourage use of existing public transportation infrastructure, and to demonstrate our company’s commitment and leadership in environmental responsibility to our employees and the public.
