Rick Linley
Rick Linley is the Chief Operating Officer of Smith Carter. As the COO and a veteran of the firm, Rick brings a strong understanding of the integration of architecture and engineering to his recognized expertise as an architect and project manager for many of the firm’s signature projects.
Rick is an advocate of sustainable design and was the firm’s first LEED® accredited professional. He is a frequent lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba and is actively involved in education and awareness for the profession. Also a Certified Project Management Professional, he is a member of the Association of Architects of Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Rick was inducted to Fellowship in the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada in 2002.
Rick and his family are long-time residents of Winnipeg.
