Structural Technologist
Location: Winnipeg
As a Structural Technologist you are an excellent communicator and collaborator with a passion for engineering design and an interest in working in a multi-disciplined integrated environment of engineers and architects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the delivery of specific tasks related to structural engineering, research, predesign/design, construction documents, tender and contract administration
- Effectively coordinates and collaborates with other project team members, senior engineers and other building professionals
Qualifications:
- Engineering Technology diploma. C.E.T. preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2009
- Knowledge of Revit MEP is desirable
- 1-3 years experience designing structural systems for commercial and institutional projects
- Solid technical capabilities with proven time management and organizational skills
- Experience in designing steel, concrete and wood structures
- PWGSC Level II Security Clearance will be required as a condition of employment
