Electrical Engineer

Location: Winnipeg

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer who has a strong sense of accountability, possesses superior collaboration skills and demonstrates a learning mindset. Our work includes local, national and international projects in various markets including Science and Technology, Security and Defense, Healthcare and Urban Impact.

As an Electrical Engineer, you are an excellent communicator who has an interest in working in a multi-disciplined integrated environment of engineers and architects to assist in the designing of electrical systems for commercial and institutional projects ranging from simple to complex.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

> Responsible for the comprehensive delivery of complicated engineering projects from pre-design/design to construction administration stage, in a multi-disciplinary environment.
> Oversee the electrical design process on projects and/or assist as a technical expert when required.
> Effectively coordinate and collaborate with clients, other disciplinary project team leaders, project team members, and other building professionals.
> Assist in the mentoring and development of design staff and act as a resource for design direction and implementation.

Qualifications:

> Current member or eligibility for membership in the APEGM.
> 10 to 15 years’ experience as a P.Eng.
> Solid technical capabilities with proven time management and organizational skills.
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on effective collaboration and integration.
> LEED AP preferred.
> PWGSC Level II Security Clearance will be required as a condition of employment
